Remote antenna coverage is a coverage zone within which one can obtain stable signal level into a modem that has a remote directional antenna attached to it. The recommended antenna is the one of the Yagi-Uda type with the gain not less than 6 dB, mounted not lower than 6-9 meters above the earth (for example, on top of a one-floor building).
The specified coverage zones have been computed by way of mathematical modeling.
The network quality (the data download speed) depends on many factors:
- the power of the signal received;
- electromagnetic environment in the particular location;
- the density of city buildings and the land relief;
- the power of the server from which downloading is accomplished;
- the computer resources and other factors.
In order to be sure of the network operation quality (the data download speed) in a particular location it is recommended to sign the contract with Try&Buy service (testing the service during a 14-day period).
