3. In the General menu, select the Network item

4. In the Network menu, select the EDGE item

5. In the APN field enter APN for the MTS service you’d like to use:

• For Mobile GPRS Internet service, APN “internet”*
• For Hyper.NET service, APN “hyper.net”
• For HyperActive service, APN “Active”
• For Smart.NET service, APN “smart.net”
• For SmartActive service, APN “smart.active”

* Those contract subscribers who connected before 25 July 2007 have to use the access point name (APN) www.umc.ua
