Money transfer

MTS invites all MTS Prepaid subscribers to take advantage of the Money Transfer service so that to ensure that you always stay in touch with your dear ones. Thanks to this service, you will have a possibility to recharge at any time the mobile account of any other MTS Prepaid, Jeans and MTS connect contract-free subscribers using your own mobile phone only! For this purpose it is necessary to send a simple USSВ-request or SMS message and specify the amount which will be deducted from your account for further transferring to an MTS Prepaid or Jeans subscriber chosen by you.

Brief rules of using the service

By means of USSD-request:

1. Create a USSD-request of the following format:

*150* [phone number in the national format of a subscriber whom it is necessary to transfer the money]*[amount in hryvnias from 1 to 30]#

2. Providing the request has been formulated correctly, you will receive a USSD-answer containing the money transfer confirmation code.

3. Create a USSD-request of the following format:

*150*[confirmation code]#

4. Providing the request has been formulated correctly, you will receive a USSD-answer confirming its receipt. If the request sent by you was incorrect, you will receive a notice describing the problem appeared.

By means of SMS-request:

1. Create an SMS of the following format:

[a subscriber’s phone number]*[amount in hryvnias from 1 to 30]

2. Send the SMS that you created to short number 150.

3. After this you will receive a notice containing the unique code in order to confirm the money transfer.

4. Send an SMS to number 150 with the unique code in the body of the message.

5. Providing your request has been formulated correctly, you will receive an SMS message confirming the receipt of your request.

Example: 0501234567*5 (a request for money transfer for the amount of 5 hryvnias to the phone number 0501234567.

Besides, you can always obtain the detailed instructions as regards the money transfer. For this purpose, dial the combination *150# or send a blank SMS message to number:

1501 for instructions in Russian language
1502 for instructions in Ukrainian language
1503 for instructions in English language

Attention! Return of money to the account of an initiating subscriber by reason of his/her refusal from the transfer or claiming that the transfer was unauthorized is not envisaged.

USSD, SMS requests and incoming SMS messages are free of charge.

Cost of each transfer is 1 hryvnia (including VAT and excluding PF).

* Attention! For the subscribers using all tariffs within Super MTS range as well as Tourist MTS, MTS Simple, Tariff 29 tariffs the service is provided on the following conditions:

Amount permitted for the transfer – from 1 to 5 hryvnias, each such amount being a whole number within the specified limits.
The minimum balance on the account of an initiating subscriber after making the transfer – 10 hryvnias.
Money received via the Money Transfer service do not extend the period of validity of the Super service.
The maximum number of transfers during a day is limited to 20.
The maximum number of transfers you can receive during a day is limited to 10.

For the subscribers using all other tariffs:

Amount permitted for the transfer – from 1 to 30 hryvnias, each such amount being a whole number within the specified limits.
The minimum balance on the account of an initiating subscriber after making the transfer – 5 hryvnias.
The maximum number of transfers during a day is limited to 20.
The maximum number of transfers you can receive during a day is limited to 10.

For those subscribers that are in roaming the service is available only for receiving the money.
