Rejected Call

The Rejected Call service offers the following possibilities:
  • To “politely” reject a phone call in the situation when a subscriber receives an incoming call but is not able/doesn’t want to answer it (for subscriber Â);
  • To quickly communicate the importance of his call in case a subscriber whom he called has rejected the call (for subscriber À).
The service is provided by means of the USSD menu and allows choosing a text of SMS message that will be sent to a subscriber. The prerequisite for the correct operation of the Rejected Call service is the activated call forwarding function on the terms “Busy” for subscriber B to the phone number +380501200021.
 
In order to activate the service proceed with the following:
  1. Activate the call forwarding function on the terms “Busy” to the phone number +380501200021 through the phone menu or by means of the USSD command **67*+380501200021# and press the call button .
  2. Activate the Rejected Call service by the USSD command *120*561# or by SMS message with the text body 561 sent to the phone number 620.
In order to deactivate the service proceed with the following:
Deactivate the Rejected Callservice by means of the USSD command *120*562# or by SMS message with the text body 562 sent to the phone number 620.
 
 

Operation of the Rejected Call is possible in 2 modes:

 
1. The Rejected Call service for subscriber B
Subscriber À dials the phone number of subscriber Â. Subscriber  cannot pick up and rejects the call. Subscriber  has on his phone screen the following USSD menu displayed:
Rejected Call for 0YYXXXXXXX
1 SMS me
2 Call me later
3 I'll call you later
4 Help
Press ‘ANSWER’, option number and ‘SEND’
 
After choosing one of the reply options (press 1, 2, 3 or 4), subscriber  presses “Send” and subscriber À receives one of the following SMS messages:
  1. I cannot answer your call at the moment. Please, SMS me.
  2. I cannot answer your call at the moment. Please, call me later.
  3. I’m busy. I'll call you later.
Notes:
  • For the Rejected Call service to work with subscriber Â, it’s necessary that the service be enabled by him and the call forwarding function on the terms “Busy” be activated to the phone number +380501200021.
  • It’s not relevant with subscriber À whether or not the Rejected Callservice or the call forwarding function on the terms “Busy” to the phone number +380501200021.
  • If the Rejected Call service is activated with both subscribers A and B, subscriber  will have the priority.
2. The Rejected Call service for Subscriber À
Subscriber À dials the phone number of subscriber Â. Subscriber  cannot pick up and rejects the call. Subscriber A has on his phone screen the following USSD menu displayed:
Rejected Call for 0YYXXXXXXX
1 SMS me
2 Call me later
3 Help
Press ‘ANSWER’, option number & ‘SEND’
 
After choosing one of the reply options (press 1, 2 or 3), subscriber À presses “Send” and subscriber  receives one of the following SMS messages:
  1. I tried to call you. Please SMS me when you can.
  2. I tried to call you. Please call me back when you can.
Notes:
  • For the Rejected Call service to work with subscriber A, it is necessary that the call forwarding function on the terms “Busy” be activated with subscriber B to the phone number +380501200021.

Management of the Rejected Call service

For both subscribers À and Âin the USSD menu there is the “Help” item. After selecting this item the subscribers will receive SMS with guiding instructions to manage the Rejected Call service:
To manage the Rejected Call service, dial the command *120*56# and press the Call button, or send SMS with the code 56 to the number 620.
 
Language of the Rejected Call service
The Rejected Call service is available in 3 languages (Ukrainian, Russian, English), and transliterated Ukrainian in addition to that. The language of the Rejected Call service is linked to the language of Who Called/Notify Me service. To check the status and to manage the language of the service one must dial *120*9# and press the call button, or send SMS with the code 9 to the number 620.
