Enter the Startup menu, Settings section and select the “Connections” tab. Press the “Add new connection through the modem” link. Enter any convenient name and select the “Cellular Line (GPRS)” modem. Then Press “Next”.

In the next window, enter the access point name:

• For Mobile GPRS Internet service, APN “internet”*
• For Hyper.NET service, APN “hyper.net”
• For HyperActive service, APN “Active”
• For Smart.NET service, APN “smart.net”
• For SmartActive service, APN “smart.active”

* Those contract subscribers who connected before 25 July 2007 have to use the access point name (APN) www.umc.ua.

In the following window press “Next” without entering any data!
