What is SMS?Send and Receive SMSSMS are short text messages which allow to communicate quickly and cheaply. Length of one SMS-message of 160 signs a Latin and 70 signs at a set of texts Cyrillic. SMS service is available to GSM subscribers only, contract subscribers and MTS Prepaid service users. A MTS user can send an SMS if there are sufficient funds on account. Otherwise, the service suspends until the next account replenishment. You will receive SMS messages even when your mobile phone is switched off; you just retrieve them as soon as you switch it back on. The messages are stored for 3 days.
