MTS Synchronization

More confidence in keeping your personal information safe

MTS Synchronization is a new service that enables MTS and JEANS customers to keep all important information from your phones safe. You can change a mobile phone or a number – however your address book, calendar entries, task list and other important information will be reliably backed up and easily recovered.
 
To take advantage of MTS Synchronization:
 
 
2. Set MTS Synchronization feature.
 
3. Synchronize all the data saved in your mobile.
 
Using MTS Synchronization web page, customers may:
    • backup and restore your organizer data (contacts, saved in the telephone’s memory);
    • transfer/copy an address book from one telephone to another;
    • edit existing or add new contacts in the telephone using WEB or WAP interfaces;
    • add useful phone contacts to an address book: taxi, stations, hotels, airports, restaurants in various cities of Ukraine;
    • make calls directly from WAP.

 

Fee of the service

To access a personal MTS Synchronization web page you have to fill all registration form spaces and get an authentication code. To get the code, you have to send an SMS message to 5308.
 
A one-time service fee is paid. The rate of sending an SMS to the number 5308 is UAH 3 including VAT.
 
Further, using MTS Synchronization service you pay only for WAP/Internet GPRS traffic as per your tariff plan.
 
The rates are in UAH including VAT as of 01 August 2007. Pursuant to the legislation of Ukraine the Pension Fund duty is charged – 7.5% of the value of consumed services.
