Roaming in satellite communication systems

Roaming in satellite communication systems is a possibility to use communication services worldwide in a satellite network cover zone using MTS SIM-card and special satellite equipment in operators networks with which MTS has concluded the roaming agreements.

 

Mobile communication operator MTS-Ukraine has concluded the roaming agreement with satellite operator Thuraya, whose international service zone covers more than hundred countries of the world.

It is required the special equipment for using the roaming service in Thuraya satellite network – two-standard subscriber's terminal Thuraya/GSM.
