MMS Description and Settings

MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) is a service that allows to exchange messages containing text, video, audio, graphics and other files of the size up to 1 MB.

Activation

MMS service is activated by default for all Prepaid users.

If due to any reason the service was not activated for you, then for activation:

Dial *109*210#(for free)

Send SMS to number 1040001 (for free).

The service will be activated within 24 hours.

MMS Setup

For automatic setup:

Send SMS containing figure “2” in its body to number 1020

Order the settings on the web-site

For manual setup:

Follow the MMS setup instructions for your mobile phone on the web-site

Checking correct operation of MMS service

To make sure that MMS service operates properly on your mobile phone, send MMS to the short number 102226 (for free).
Providing the sending has been successful, you will receive a service MMS confirming correct operation of the service.

Directions for sending MMS

You may send MMS:

Within the network;
To MTS subscribers of any country;
To subscribers of other Ukrainian operators;
To subscribers of the following foreign operators
To e-mail (for this purpose, you have to enter a recipient’s e-mail address instead of a mobile phone number; such e-mail address must be not more than 21 characters in length).

Cost of the service

Cost per sending MMS within the network is UAH 0.99.

Cost per sending MMS to subscribers of foreign operators is UAH 5.00.

The rates are specified in Hryvnias including VAT. The Pension Fund duty in the amount of 7.5% of the cost of the service is additionally charged, excluding VAT.

The service is available for the subscribers of all MTS Prepaid tariff plans.
