WAP Settings

MTS WAP is supported by two data transmission technologies: GPRS and CSD (GSM-data). You can configure your WAP settings as follows:

• Through the automatic configuration ordering service on the MTS web-site;
• Sending an SMS-request;
• Manually, according to the table of standard settings;
• Following the detailed instructions.

Once you ordered the settings, you get an SMS with the configuration data for your phone. After you enter the parameters, a new profile with configuration data will appear in your profile list. Now your phone is ready for WAP! Do not forget to activate the service.

Configuring Your WAP via SMS

You can configure your WAP in either of two ways:

Send SMS message at short number 1020 with text  "2"

Below are the standard WAP settings. See your phone manual for detailed configuring instructions.

* For contract subscribers who will connect till 25.07.2007, the Access Point Name is needed (APN) wap.umc.ua.
